One aim of our project was to provide support in the development of Parent Associations. For most East European countries, the relationship between school and community is strictly professional. In Romania there is an acute need for Parent Associations whose existence will change the out-dated relationship between school and community.  Any existing associations are not publicised or promoted. A Romanian parent, for example, is unable to find information on such associations using the internet or normal ways of documentation. That is why the MorePAL project promoted and publicised Parent Associations and helped the new association to make better links with the life of the community.
